Got a few spots with johnson grass in it. Lot of mixed stuff growing in the areas and id like to keep it. Lot of huneysuckle and such.

Wondering if a wick would be the best thing to use there on it since the johnson grass is taller than everything else.
Ive seen some made for 4 wheelers.

I have capped the ends of a pvc pipe and drilled small holes in it. I then wrapped cotton cloth around the pvc pipe and poured Gly in the pipe to saturate the cotton wrap. This allows you to swipe the tops of the Johnson grass without getting it on your desireables. It has worked for me. Just attach to the 4 wheeler and push the grass down.

That's how farmers used to rid crops of Johnson Grass back in the day before Round-Up ready crops.

Works best in my experience to wipe over it one way, then turn around and wipe over from directly opposing side.

Undiluted or no less than 50/50 Glyphosate/Water mix.

Good advice here. Generally, it can work pretty well, but not always a sure thing.

If you do the things you need to do when you need to do them then someday you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them.

I should have added this also. We used pure Gly.

Wonder if that would work to rid weeds from centipede

Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

This would probably work for that.

You better be careful driving thru where you've already been because you can get gly on your tires and kill stuff that comes in contact with the tires. I've seen it happen when spraying, maybe there wont be enough residue using a wick.
