It is less dangerous than cigarettes or alcohol. Big Pharma has pushed extremely hard to keep it illegal. Just like Global Warming, the studies always favor the direction that the $$$ pushes.

It's the first step of turning this conservative state into a more liberal society. I want all these people that thinks it's a great idea to go to Santa Cruz or San Jose or San Francisco on 420 day and watch all these idiots smoke it up and then come back and tell me you feel the same way. They have huge 420 conventions or swap meets like a gun show. If you would just sit and watch the people go in there that's what you are asking for. It's not wise.

Half dozen people I know have moved to Denver since legalization. They have real corporate jobs - apartments/houses. And they all have a serious love for marijuana and have since high school/college

Prohibition doesn't work. The War on Drugs is a colossal waste of time and money. It sounds like Mo might be a welcome change to Sessions.

I don't mean to sound like an azz but if you guys want it legal then why not move to a state that is already legal in? The states that legalized aren't in a better place financially for legalizing it. What's the benefit of legalizing it?

Had a judge tell me a couple months ago about being tired of seeing petty possession cases clogging up the system. We're paying for all the probation officers, maybe even the drug tests given to the person while on probation for possession of a small amount of marijuana.

I'm no fan of pot, but I also don't think it's the governments business to tell folks they can't have or use something that would just grow on it's own anyway. I also agree that pot probably isn't as harmful as alcohol.

If that's the case then the argument could go the same for the poppy and coco plant.

Why should anyone have to move to another state to eat or smoke a plant?

Nothing wrong with a lil pot. It's way safer then alcohol! I know some sorry ass alcoholics that have lost everything because of alcohol! They were once great men and women. Why not make it legal and go after the real drugs cause pot ain't one! Meth, herion, even Pain pills are what needs to be worried about!

A plant that grows from the earth with medical benefits should be allowed to be used as medicine. Period. How is it okay to give our children adderall and chemically created big pharma drugs that cause side effects, but something all natural that dulls pain and eases stomach issues and decreases attacks for folks with epilepsy and strokes is illegal?? I've had family going through cancer and they smoked it and it relieved all the nausea the chemo put them through. It was the only thing that worked after nine different anti nausea type medicine prescribed by doctors. It's not the doctors fault. It's big pharma and dirty politicians fault.

I went to California and Colorado well before it was ever legalized and those states were full of worthless bums back then. It wasn't pots fault.

Whatever dude. Last time I checked it was still ILLEGAL. So put that in your pipe in smoke it. Being free has nothing to do with smoking pot. Last time I checked it wasn't in part of the constitution.

I can't make a solid argument against it, except I think it makes people lazy, and re-wires their brain in some way. Oh and man-boobs whistle

So you think telling folks what they can't do, is freedom. I couldn't care less if folks wanna smoke it or not. Doesn't effect me one way or the other. But that's because I believe in freedom. But having the same mentality as the Muslims sounds like the opposite of freedom to me.

So you're saying that because I oppose marijuana that I'm equivalent to Muslim or North Koreans. You're an idot

So sexual relations with animals should be legal? It doesn't affect you one bit.
