Florida passed the medical marijuana bill with about a 70% vote. I'm for it, but I think it should be heavily regulated and maybe prescription only from a pain management doctor. It is less dangerous than cigarettes or alcohol. Big Pharma has pushed extremely hard to keep it illegal. Just like Global Warming, the studies always favor the direction that the $$$ pushes.

Prohibition doesn't work. The War on Drugs is a colossal waste of time and money. It sounds like Mo might be a welcome change to Sessions.

I don't mean to sound like an azz but if you guys want it legal then why not move to a state that is already legal in? The states that legalized aren't in a better place financially for legalizing it. What's the benefit of legalizing it? Had a judge tell me a couple months ago about being tired of seeing petty possession cases clogging up the system. We're paying for all the probation officers, maybe even the drug tests given to the person while on probation for possession of a small amount of marijuana.

I'm no fan of pot, but I also don't think it's the governments business to tell folks they can't have or use something that would just grow on it's own anyway. I also agree that pot probably isn't as harmful as alcohol.

What's the benefit of legalizing it? why dont you move to North Korea were their views of freedom is more like your own?

So put that in your pipe in smoke it. Being free has nothing to do with smoking pot. Last time I checked it wasn't in part of the constitution.

So you think telling folks what they can't do, is freedom. I couldn't care less if folks wanna smoke it or not. Doesn't effect me one way or the other. But that's because I believe in freedom. But having the same mentality as the Muslims sounds like the opposite of freedom to me.
