Anybody have any experience with the SIG P229 Legion? Looking for the Good, Bad, and Ugly on this weapon. From my research it has been all Good.

Have you visited sigtalk.com? Lots of legion owners over there. Only complaint I've read is some folks having issues with the finish. I've got a plain P229 in 357sig and, while I enjoy shooting it, I find it a bit too big and heavy for every day carry here in warmer weather. So, it is my cold weather carry. I love Sigs, have several, but in the heat I normally have a shield on me.

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.

Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.

Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

Heavy.

it is an outstanding gun. Have never head anything negative about them. Buddy of mine has the 229 naval and its simply outstanding. But they are big and heavy. And they have a tall upper/slide profile that takes some getting used to. They are very overbuilt for a 9mm. I handle them regularly at the gun store and have actually had my mind up to get one but always passed. Its kind of like a Beretta 92 size - just a little too large for 9mm.
