I going to hunt some of the land on the tombigbee near pickensville, does anybody have any suggestions on which part to hunt?

you just have out get in your boat and hit every part of it. really the only places to kill deer are on the bow only areas. the locals poach the crap out of the gun areas, which are mosty just gravel pits anyway. if you go for the bow areas be ready to make a ground blind as many of them dont have anywhere to put up a tree stand, but setting up in a good ambush spot will get you some deer. some areas have green fields, dont waste you time on them. pull up the areas maps and compare them to google earth and that will give you a good start on what spots are decent looking.
