We harvested a few supers of honey yesterday and thought I'd share a little bit of the process. My son leading the way to the bee yard - Prepping a felt board to flush the bees out of the honey supers. They don't like the smell of the almond oil loading the supers Shallow Super ready for processing Cut Comb from the Shallow

Good documentary there Dustin. Nice looking honey too. I like lighter honey personally. I'm planning on robbing this Saturday. How much did you end up getting?

We took one medium and one shallow and wound up with about ~60+ pounds.

Good looking honey and nice picture documentation. I haven't started yet so, if you need more practice extracting honey, you know where I live.

Cool pics! I bet that whirly-gig will wear a feller out.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
