This is a muzzleloading question. When I got my new-to-me Accura in early spring, I played around with it with one pellet of Triple 7. When I bump it up to 2 pellets for hunting, how close will my existing one pellet zero be?

Probably not even close. One pellet is a very, very low velocity load for an already low velocity weapon.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Like any other weapon, spend some quality time testing different loads with whatever bullets you'll be using. I shoot a CVA Optima Pro magnum. With 245gr Powerbelt bullets using Triple7 powder pellets (30s and 50gr) a 100gr load will print a 6"+ 4-shot group at 100. A 90gr charge regularly stays under 3" for me with just a smidge of drop.

You putting 3 of the 30s together to get the 90 gr charge?

AC, pellets are good and work fine for a lot of people but to get the most out of your ML loose powder will allow you to fine tune it by letting you hit the weights that fall in between. I've found that 85-95 grains of trip7 works great with 300 grain bullets

My old Remington 700ML don't shoot pellets of any kind/any weight worth a hoot. 100gr of Pyrodex Select has holes touching at 100yds when shot under 300gr Barnes MZ Expanders.

Yes, I am. My gun will handle up to 150gr charge but I've found no reason to push it that hot. I got about as good an accuracy node with a 120gr charge as the 90 but the recoil was stout and 90 does everything I require with 150yards or so. If I recall, using Pyrodex pellets, 100gr was optimum.

Try Blackhorn powder if your gun is capable of shooting it. Some guns can't stand the pressures generated, but I have an Omega with the screw in breech plug that is great with it. It will shoot with most center fires at 100 yards with Blackhorn. The reason I shoot Blackhorn is because it does not foul my barrel as bad. Makes cleaning very easy as I like to shoot a lot.

Hope this helps.
