The thing about carrying iwb or any other way is you have to get used to carrying every day. I carry 24/7/365, I'm just trying to figure out how to carry a larger weapon than my pocket pistol. Ankle holster inside your boot

You said no pocket carry, but that's the only way this fat boy has found be comfortable. I'm a southpaw so left front pocket. My every day carry gun is a Diamondback DB9. I chose it because as far as I know it is the smallest, lightest 9x19 on the market so it doesn't feel like a rock in my pocket. It's been said over and over here that if it isn't comfortable, you'll leave it in the truck. It won't help you there. When the SHTF, I'll probably wish I had one of my full size guns, but the thing is, I'll actually have one on me, not in the truck. Well, I'll have one there too.
I just read your last post. Nevermind this one.

Carrying small of your back you can also accidentally blow your peeble off. Or so my dad says. He always called the part of the anatomy between the crack and the waistline "the peeble." No idea where he got that.

I'm a southpaw too metalmuncher. Mine stays in front left pocket as well.
dnolen, I don't have 3 fat rolls, just one biggun. I thought about tucking it under my left boob but sweat would eat it up.

Carrying a gun isn't comfortable; but at times it is comforting

Something along the lines of a Springfield XDS or a mid sized 9mm.

Something along the lines of a Springfield XDS or a mid sized 9mm. Not a lot of options other than a tuckable IWB. You wear undershirts? One option, although I've never tried it, is to wear a tactical undershirt with the built in holster. Disadvantage is you would need several shirts it you carried everyday and didn't want to stink.

I do wear an undershirt but I would die from a heat stroke if I got any hotter than I already do.

I carry a Keltec P32 in my front pocket at all times.
