I recently bought a Stihl MS 180 and wish I had bought a bigger unit. Just doesn't seem to have the power my old Poulan did.
Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.
Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.
Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

If you are not going to do any real heavy consistent cutting, I would go to tractor supply and get a Jonsered. We have a couple at the far. They have not given a minutes trouble, are light weight for the power. We have a 2238 and a 2245. I reach for them unless I am cutting something big that requires our big stihl with a 24 inch bar.

I have owned a couple of Husky saws. The ones I had were hard to crank and heavy as hell. You need to eat a sandwich.

I had a husky 455 rancher that I really liked, eventually needed some work so I bought a new saw. Bought a stihl farm boss and it's a good one but heavier than the rancher. I don't think the new huskys are as good as the old ones, but as far as I can tell, nothing is That's possible, but I can tell you for sure there is a huge difference between the consumer stuff and the professional models. Just to clarify,a man doesn't need a professional model to cut a few logs off the road and a bit of firewood now and then. As a professional I would burn 5 gallons of gas a day,6 days a week for years before needing a new saw and sometimes cut logs 60" diameter.
