I welcome the rain. Just wish it was spread out a little more evenly and a slow, gentle rain. This is one of the reasons that folks convert to no-till. Rain is rarely gonna fall like we want it to. Instead, what we’re more likely to see is either heavy down pours or nothing. So we buffer against it by improving water infiltration and reducing moisture loss, etc.

Last storm put a plum tree on the ground here. The ground still squishes when you walk on it here. I sounded like Squidward walking through the back yard today. I have okra, squash, peppers, maters, and beans that I can't get get close enough to pick because of all the liquid sunshine. The squash plants are trying to rot. Want to borrow my conoe

Rain, Rain go away come back another day
Came in from bush hogging a neighbors lot at 5, at 5:45 we got 2.5' and it's still falling, not as bad though.
