This place is the one that's archaic when it comes to posting photos. Go to any other forum, it's simple, easy peasy. Sorry if it offends but it's true.

from what I can tell, most every forum is identical to this one, in that you still have to have the photo "hosted" somewhere else. I don't know of any forum/message board that hosts pictures itself.

That's cuz aldeer is hosted on a Windows 98 box underneath Skinny's kids Guinea pigs cage.

Yep. Turds got me several days ago. The bad part is, I can't even retrieve the pics I saved to PB. All I get is the error message with speedometer looking thingy. Of course I'm trying all this via the PB app. I've never even been to their full site from a desktop computer.

I look at it like this. They could have eased into this. Cconsider how many goobers here used Photobucket. Let's at 10000X$400=$400,000. Consider how many other sites are in the same fix. Tndeer, Gon, PFF. We are talking huge returns. They aren't trying to pay bills. They are trying to get rich overnight.
Screw'em. I think they might have done better starting a plan for say $5 a month where you had limited storage an 3rd party links. They have lost a whole lot of customers with this crazy move.
CR you dufus, you are dead period unless you fork over $400. It ain't gonna thaw off and go away.

I'm sure Skinny doesn't need your opinions on his site.

It really ain't that complicated perhaps you are a bit archaic?? This forum is based on open source software/framework that thousands of other forums use as well.

Wrong WEW, skinny weighed in on this several days ago. He made it clear for all to reads his opinion on the topic. I suggest you two go back and read that.

I did not say he should or has to change anything; you said he did not need opinions.
He did exactly what I stated; listened and weighed in.

Not worried about. We aint going to host pictures because that process gets abused, which is why photobucket went the way they did. Just find another picture hosting site. There are bunches of them.

You know I'm an old techno challenged fart. Any named suggestions or do I have to wait until my children are home to walk me through it?

BTW, Skinny's explanation on why Aldeer won't host is found in here:

It is beyond my technology IQ, but I'll trust him on it. I get the gist anyways.
