I spent about $150 this go around. typical amount seems to stay between $100-$150. if $150 once a year hurts that bad you got bigger problems than fireworks or sissy dogs. laugh
LOL. I used to spend a few $$ when I was younger and you could get the good stuff like M-80s, plus kids in my neighborhood would have bottle rocket battles with the black kids on the other side of the tracks. Good stuff!! I was always amazed when I managed a bunch of blue collar guys, they lived paycheck to paycheck, but for the Fourth or Christmas they'd spend $300-$400 apiece on fireworks, and this was back in the 80s!!

Way back, I used to spend about $50 or so. Now, if I could still buy real M80's and cherry bombs, I might still buy a few of them, just for fun. Fireworks are like guns. Some people don't give them the proper respect and pay the price.

I was just thinking the same thing. The amount I spent on taxes the last year is absolutely staggering. At least I get to enjoy the fireworks, I guess.

Was in Tallahassee. Outstanding display put on by the city. Spent about ten dollars on wire and paper sparklers so the little kids in the community could have some fun without tearing up too much stuff.
