For those of you that shoot a lot what do you use as your target? I'm not talking about your backstop but what you're shooting at whether it's a spot on the target or dots painted on or whatever. Lately I've been shooting at Mountain Dew bottle tops hung up on my target. They're about the size of twelve rings on 3D target and I can see them fairly well. I like to challenge myself and see just how far out I can hit them. The last four days though I have been trying to shoot an Easton lightspeed into a broken piece of an Easton fullbore at 45 yards. I put an orange foam earplug in the end of the fullbore so that I could see it. It's taken me probably 100 or so shots to finally hit it. What's as surprising as me hitting it is that the earplug stopped the smaller arrow from going the full length of the larger arrow. It was also hell pulling them apart.

Best I can hit is a snuff can at twenty yards lol. My eyes arent good enough to shoot a bow super well. Looking through a peep blurs my vision at longer distances.

20 years ago when I started bow hunting my bow was such a piece I shot at old plastic gas jugs. These days o have better equipment thanks goodness. I have a hurricane bag and a Rinehart block target and some kind of pos 3d buck that won't stop an arrow even at 60 yards. I'm in the market for a new 3d target. I haven't decided between the Glendale buck or one of the Rinehart buck targets. Those Rinehart 3d targets are high dollar.

They high dollar but they some fine targets i like anything rinehart makes. I dont care for delta on account of the plastic legs. Ima buy me a rinehart one of these days, got some of their blocks good targets just be kind an shoot them with broadheads sparingly an theyll last along time

When I'm shooting my big foam block,I paint half dollar size dots. I like to put 6-8 dots on it and shoot one arrow at each dot.I think it helps me focus on one spot for 3D competitions. I'm shooting trad bows though with no sights or release. Focusing on just one tiny spot among several really helps my trad 3D shooting.

I have a Block target. I trace quarters and shade them in with a Sharpie. That's what I aim at.

Side of the barn. Seriously just a dot on a target. If I'm trying to site my bow in I put electrical tape horizontally for my up and down and one vertical for my left to right

Y'all may have seen something like this before, but this is a great DIY broadhead target, for a great price. Also very good sized which is nice for shooting longer distances.

Image is in the second post of the thread.

Shooting the neighborhood cats can be challenging, and it also helps to practice judging yardage. LOL

I try to put a arrow inside the hole of old scratched up DVDs without touch touching the sides at progressively further distances.

The Bionic Buck, Turkey, Rabbit, which are animal shaped targets cut from steel with foam vital area.

Ping-Pong ball suspended from a sting in front of a target.

Helium balloons staked on a string in front of the target. Have to use the "force" with this.

Bugs that land on the target.

Makes things a lot more interesting and challenging.

I've got 2 of them. One is an actual Blob and one is a "reject" blob. I prefer the free reject, but I had to buy the real one to get the other "free" one. They are great. The reject is a lot softer and much easier to remove arrows. I do not shoot at the middle and have another old target behind it, just in case. Nothing gets through the real blob that I have and I mostly shoot broadheads.
