The back-story to mine was similar. Although I would see her on Fridays at that restaurant, we didn't know each other. A few days prior to the Friday I asked her out, she was walking into the local mall ahead of me and I recognized her. I assumed she would at least make eye contact, or hopefully speak, but she didn't even hold the door for me. I guessed she just didn't see me. So that's how I opened the conversation at the restaurant..."I can't believe you high-hatted me at the mall the other day!" She giggled and admitted she knew it was me.

Wife #1 must have run out of money but wasn't sure about the strange car in the driveway when she came back home so she called and asked about it. I let her talk to her while we were laying in her bed.

Turned out okay after the initial shock wore off - wife #1 drove away and left me alone for a while and wife #2 made me quit peeing on wife #1's pile of stuff in the yard.

Becca and I were both in the Air Force Reserves. We meet in Korea in 1989 on a military exercise. I haven't been able to shake her since.

She was dating one of my friends. I was supposed to "watch out" for her cause we were going to college in the same city.

I was an instrument tech at Exxon plant, Jay fla. she hired on as a helper. 33 years later and she's still on the payroll. I know for a fact I married way out of class too.

Softball game. She was married to one of my fraternity brothers but was recently divorced. Didn't remember her from there but we been married 18 years. She's a good woman I'm just hard to live with some days.

Meet her at work in NC. She moved up when she was 14 I moved up in 98. Mentioned a place in Huntsville that only someone from here would know and she said "Oh yeah I know where that is" Started talking and come to find out we went to the same school, and she is in my senior yearbook. Ended up going out, and married her. Now we have moved back to Huntsville, and been together from 98 on.

We met at a 4th of July party that her parents had each year. We knew each other but something was different on that day. She was 14 and I had just turned 16. We been married 31 years. She still doesn't hunt or fish, but that is fine with me. I'll never understand how I got so lucky.

Smoking hot bartender. She slipped up. One night she said something about going quail hunting at 5 Star with her boyfriend. So I told her I wasn't impressed that's a yuppie place.

I guess she either thought my tractor was sexy or was impressed with how I shoot. Maybe both.

My friend's (now brother-in-law) sister; she and her then boyfriend had recently broken up and her brother asked me, to ask her to go to a softball tournament. I didn't really consider it a 1st date, but we've been together ever since - 33+ years and counting.

She moved into the apartment next door after leaving her abusive, alcoholic ex-husband. Long story short, I got several "no's" after asking her to dinner (she said I had too many different women coming and going for her to be interested), she finally agreed. Almost 17 years later, we're still going strong.

Sat by, befriended and was smitten by her in 11th grade AP English. When she broke up with her boyfriend of 4 years, JUGHEAD went to work. That was 25 years ago and I'm more crazy over her today than I have ever been. Blessed beyond measure!!!

Senior year of high school, me & a buddy went fishing at his cousin's house who had a pond. Pretty little sophomore brunette comes down to investigate and he introduced us. Started dating soon after, stayed together through college, and now we've been married 13 years & 1 month as of today.

Met my wife when we were students at Auburn. My fraternity hosted a mixer for all the new sorority pledge classes (sheer brilliance looking back). She came up to me and introduced herself. Prettiest girl I had ever seen. Turned out her sister had dated my brother and her sister told her to come up and introduce herself.

We talked the whole afternoon and I promised I'd call her. Well I got busy and never did . Two weeks later I'm standing in the Haley Center Bookstore looking at a Playboy magazine (I ain't making this up) and she walks up behind me and tells me to put down that nasty magazine. Well after I gathered my wits about me we started talking and turns out we had the same 9:00 o'clock break between classes. She mentioned she was struggling with a math class and I told her since I was studying engineering, I could help her during the break.

Well the rest is history, best day of my life for sure. This December we will have been married 38 years.
