I always said the only way I would get married would be if she drove a big truck,was hot,like to hunt,fish and liked racing well by god I found her. We had went to school together, almost went to the clink together and did community service together but were always just friends. We never knew we were meant for each other until about two years after we graduated and a drunken night at hooters and I said I was gonna marry that girl. She is my best friend and the love of my life and we have been together for ten years and have two wonderful little boys.

We sat next to each other in a class at UAB called Serial Killers. No joke. It was a requirement for both of our majors at that time, not an elective I can assure you.

To be fair I had asked her out the previous semester but she had a "boyfriend." This time around she asked me out because I assumed she was still with that queer and wasn't going to ask again.

Here we are 5 years later in October and we have a 2 year old little boy. Where does the time go..

I guess we flirted a little and I told her I'd like to go out sometime. She agreed. But this was October and I told her it would be a little while because it was hunting season. I had the deer fever a lot worse then than I do now and I traveled somewhere hunting every weekend from Oct. 15 to Christmas.
She didn't understand when I said it would be a while that I had like 6 weeks of hunting planned.
She sent me a birthday card from the insurance agency on my birthday but later told me she almost didn't because she was pissed at me. I took a weekend off first weekend in January. She forgave me for not calling sooner. We got engaged 6 months after we started dating, married 6 months after that.
It'll be 20 years of marriage in February.
She's a Bama fan (she watches recorded games even when I'm not around) and she likes to fish.
She still dislikes hunting season but will tell you I'm "not as bad" about hunting as when we first met.

Long story short I was riding with a motorcycle club when I stationed in Hawaii. The club had a party one night and the club president ask me if his niece could ride with on Sunday. The I showed up to pick her up she rode the next few weeks and we will celebrate 10 years in January.

She was my sisters roomate in college. Probably would not have asked her out because she was a really good girl and at that time I was a very bad boy. But she did not wait around and asked me out. Guess she felt like a walk on the wild side. Anyway been together 37 years now and I could not do without her.

Walked into business econ class in college. She was the only one in the class at the time...... I took the seat next to her ( I always sat next to the best looking girl in my classes if possible). She shut me down pretty quick (I lived right off campus and walked to school so I'd always try to get a ride from them)..... so I moved along. Ended up running into her again that summer and her attitude had changed/ I figure she had broke up with her boyfriend (which I wasn't aware she had earlier) --and the rest is history.

We kind of knew each other from going to school in the same area,

BUT

Me and TravisBatey were having a birthday dinner here at the Local Buenavista on new years eve. My now wife showed up with a couple of girls that had been invited by me and a buddy. We drank, ate and had good times. My wife and the girls had 2 cabins rented for a NYE party at goosepond that night and we ended up going there after hitting a couple of bars. We flirted around all night and she eventually gave me her number..except it turned out to be a wrong number. To this day she believes that I was so drunk that I typed it in wrong, I say she just gave me a wrong number on purpose. She was finishing schoot at UA at the time. She moved to Huntsville to finish her Masters degree and we started getting pretty serious. We dated 5 years before I finally popped the question.

She's smoking hot, a godly woman, family has a ton of hunting land(they don't hunt), she don't complain much about me hunting and fishing, and she works. I don't know what the hell took me so long...Guess I just felt bad taking advantage of a blind girl.
