My cousin cried a lot as a baby.
My uncle would go out to his car, listen to the radio and smoke.

It's a tough thing to do. You love them and hate to hear them cry, especially not knowing why they are crying. We have custody of a 10 month old and she hasn't felt good for a couple of days and it's been rough.

That crap can try the best of us. If you feel yourself about to lose it, put the baby somewhere safe and walk outside for a minute. It will pass after a couple months

X2! It sucks when you have no idea what is wrong with them and can't do anything about it.

I let mine cry it out. They grew up being able to sleep in their own bed and they know they can count on me in all instances.

My first stayed sick with ear infections till she had tubes put in her ears. I thought it was going to kill me as I got up with her. If I got still at work I was asleep. Coworker would wake me up to start the job. He was a lot older and said lack of sleep won't kill you, you just think your dying.

Sorry to hear that, my son was born 7 days earlier than him. I've learned not to take anything for granted rip to your grandson

Bowtecdan, I remember your story well, it was about 2 weeks before mine was born and i can assure you the story was not browsed over nor forgotten. I can't imagine going thru that.

I appreciate it, he got his mother's looks smile

I and everyone else for that matter needs those reminders from time to time. It's earning my stripes as I see it. Some stripes are worse than others.

i would say if you know your infant is perfectly well, and working a con, letting him/her cry might be OK. but how do you know?
