Have you ever had a gun pulled on you?

I have once, a friend and I were riding the fire lanes years ago, we passed a car that had been run off in the ditch, there was a couple people standing there so we asked if they needed help, they said no so we went on down the road, about 2 hours later we were coming back by and the car was on fire with no one around or so we thought, we stopped and were about to get out when this guy jumped out of the ditch with a 12 gauge and stuck it in the window, he was drunk and mad as hell, he thought we had set his car on fire, I thought for sure we were dead, it took about 5-10 minutes to talk him down, I wanted to pull my pistol but couldn't get to it with out getting shot.. I have never been that scared before or after!!!

Lotta people got shot and stabbed in the firelanes.That was a rough place to be..and no I've never had someone actually pull a gun and threaten me with it but I did piss my brother off one day and he chased me with my own damn shotgun shooting at me.Had to dig a few pellets outta my side with my knife and went back to drinking beer.

The neighborhood kids and I did that with pellet guns, but not shotguns. Damn, lol.

We had some drunk spot lighters ride thru our camp late one night and my dad stopped them on the way out. The driver kicked the door open and stuck a bolt action rifle in pops chest and said"what are you going to do about it old man?"I was around 12 and little brother 10 and we were both standing out of sight with our 7400s leveled on the driver of the truck.dad was able to talk his way out of it and they left never knowing we were there. I believe it was the first time we had ever heard dad cuss and he was shaking uncontrollably. I had to get on little brother...., he had flipped his safety off and had finger on the trigger. I have no idea how we would have reacted to him getting shot but the plan was to dump both clips on the cab of that truck.

The police have pulled a gun on me... and (if you can believe it) I'm white!!

Rough spot for young boys to be in but the guy that put the gun to your dads chest, he needed his head canoed by that 7400.

That's what I tried to tell him! He must have had some real dark sunglasses on or something?

Got shot at by a poacher, as a young teen, by a guy about 19 or 20 years old. He was trespassing on my dads place, squirrel hunting. Luckily we were really a little out of range and just had shot rained down on us more than anything. Local cops came and dragged him out of the woods.

I've had a few guns pulled on me while coon hunting - none of those times was I trespassing either. Twice by the same guy, protecting his meth lab (actually came on to a friend's of mines land to do this which got him busted with it the 2nd time), and 3rd time one of two brothers gave me permission to hunt their farm but didn't say anything to the other brother which came up on me taking the tracking collars off my dogs in the middle of the dirt road that came through their place. It's usually a similar story that other long time coon hunters have in the back of their minds. I've quit coon hunting now just deer hunting and fishing for me now

WOW. I must have lived a pretty quiet life compared to you guys.

A few times unfortunately. When I was younger I had a tendency to be places doing things I had no business doing. It's a wonder my ass never got shot.

Been shot at once as a kid knocking on doors and running. I don't think he shot at me but in the air. I also had a cop pull on me but it was because I had a AR-15 in my hands at the time. I had called the cops to my location, a girlfriend call said ex was holding her at knife point and I beat the cops there. She got out of the house and he barracaded himself up inside. I went to jail that day for menacing but it got tossed out. Still had to pay the lawyer thro. I learned from that one, if I didn't help you get into the problem you are in then I ain't helping you get out of it.

For real.

Although, technically, I did get shot "at" by a road poacher last deer season, but it was from about 600 yards away and he had no idea I was there.

I was out walking my dog when I lived in Southside and the restaurant that we backed up to had just gotten robbed. The cops put me on the ground until they realized I was just letting my dog out one last time before bed.

Once and it involved a female. Back in the days when I was thinking more with the little head instead big head. It was a sawed off shotgun guy snatched out of his trunk at a gas station. I had a pistol in a hard case under my seat st the time but could not get it out as he was walking toward my truck. That was last day I kept my gun in a hard case under the seat. It is now easier to get to.

I've been shot at with rock salt a few times, we had it coming. There was this old colonial style "haunted house" in the back of this guys property that we'd sneak through the woods to get to with whoever would join us. The guy yelled, "I'm gonna shoot your asses with this rock salt." Boom, boom - we could hear it peppering the trees, but I don't think anyone ever got hit.

This happened a couple of times at the same place - then the sheriff's department began patrolling the area and pretty much put a stop to it.

I always felt like if he would have peppered (or salted in this case) me, I would have deserved it.

It's a long story, but I had an over zealous, idiotic AL state trooper pull one on me while walking up to my car window cussing at me for "running him off the road", when it was his fault. I can't say for certain that he was pointing it at me - but he was pointing it in my direction. After a few minutes of me telling him that he was being completely unprofessional and asking for his supervisor to come to the location immediately - the sorry ass piece of shucks got back in his car and sped off. I never got his name or I would have done whatever I could to have him removed from the job. I did call DPS and told them of the situation, requested an inquiry and a call back, and that they review whatever camera footage was available, but of course - NOTHING.

Also had a bunch of armed guys board a bus I was on in Honduras and we all gave them a few dollars and they let us go on our way.
