Try Farmers Feed on 331 JUST south of Montgomery. It's pretty much where 331 meets the bypass. They usually have just about everything.

It was $100/ bag at my local seed place. I wanted to try it, but I passed at that price. It's not as bad as you think. You plant it at about 15 lbs per acre, you don't have to fertilize it and you can plant a crop of something else after it and you don't have to fertilize the crop you plant after it. It's like getting paid to plant it

paid 65 a bag in phenix city Please elaborate. Was this the AU Golden Sunn Hemp variety or regular Sunn Hemp? I believe the AU Golden Sunn Hemp can produce seed in Alabama. I think the Hamners in NW Alabama were growing some of this. Regular Sunn Hemp seed has to be imported from more tropical countries. I would expect locally grown seed to be cheaper. I haven't heard of the imported seed falling in cost.
