Does anyone know anything about the high fence that has been erected starting at the Brierfield Ironworks park and extending down hwy 25. There is a large iron gate that has the word "Cahaba" written on it. I see it every time I head for Oakmulgee and have wondered about it.

the stephens', owners of cahaba pressure treated lumber, are fencing 'just a small portion' of what they own including everything on the left side of 25S from brierfield state park to clark tractor. genuinely nice people!

I can understand trying to keep out trespassers but that is one heck of a fence, wonder how much it cost to install?

Yep. I think that's about what it cost to install the high fence around the Troy Airport.
