I can tell right off you are about to get over my head with this electricity stuff. Its not hard to do.

Solar charger. Rectangle shaped. Each strand runs completely around. T post with insulators. Corners are wood with doughnut insulators. 2 copper grounds about 6' down and 10' apart. Nothing touching wire.

No, I know enough about electricity to know not to touch it. I did put a few up some time ago but it was in a triangle shape. It was some kit. I did expand it. It was 3 wires. 2 outside, bottom was about 10" off the ground, top was about 24". The wire on the inside was about 3' inside the first one and at 18". I remember thinking this will never work because you could step over it. But it did. It was a pulse charger though. I had it around soybeans. Kept them out until they got about 6' tall. Took it down and bean were gone in 2 weeks. It was about an acre. I did the same thing with a 10 acre field but realized it was more trouble than I wanted to fool with.

I just re-read your post and to explain mine more mine was a 3 wire system. The wires made a triangle shape.

I took some metal electric fence post and tied aluminum plates to the top with a foot long string so the plates would beat on the post with the wind to try and run the dang turkeys out. Good idea, but it didn't work.

Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Just park anything but a Bad Boy Buggie with some used hunting clothes on it they haven't been sprayed down with dead down wind or a scent locker suit. That will keep the deer away according to the pros on the Outdoor Channel.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Did you try putting a ground wire in between live wires? That's so they make the connection. I put a picture of Perchjerker in my corn crib this year and the rats brought back the corn they stole last year. smile
