I'm thinking about hitting the road soon to try and drum up some business and I want to look in Alabama and possibly Mississippi. I'm in the injection molding and metal stamping business but I also specialize in custom Fasteners and bracketry. I mainly deal in high volume versus custom work. In yalls opinion, what part/parts of Alabama has the most manufacturing? You can make some Aldeer fidget spinners.
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

I sell numerous products into automotive, aero, electronics and industrial manufacturing. What do you sell? Distributor? I am a distributor's rep. We sell Henkel, Dow Corning, 3M etc... 3M abrasives or what aspect of 3M? 3M Industrial...Adhesives mainly, but abrasives are part of that. That being said, abrasives aren't a target application that I go after. It amazing how much my motorhome plant buys in tape and adhesives. He showed me the spread sheet and I was shocked.

They buy a lot, but the margins are crap.

I'm buying my son a 3D printer if he makes the honor role this last period. That's the first thing I plan on having him make is a couple of those spinners. I have a few ideas and if they are still selling like crazy I just might push forward on having a tool made to produce some.

In yalls opinion, what part/parts of Alabama has the most manufacturing? Have you considered looking into manufacturing any fasteners made for hanging and mounting all thread and unistrut? With all of the mechanical and electrical contractors around there should be a huge market. Take a look at Cooper B-Line to get some ideas.

If someone wanted a large bulk order, I can possibly save someone a little money but I can justifiably stock such items without a blanket order.
