Heading to the in-laws this weekend down in Wetumpka and thinking about taking the boat and fishing Jordan. Only ever fished Lay on the Coosa. Do they fish similar??

Yep. Great lake to swim a jig or flip the grass. If you wanna see and fish something totally different, try Weoka Creek. Lots of grass and flooded cypress trees.

That's been some tough fishing lately. The bite has completely stopped for me the last couple of weeks. I can't give any advice on catching em because I've tried everything with no luck. Everyone else I know that fishes Jordan regularly has said the same.

Well I was hoping to find somewhere down there that isn't Lake Martin to fish.

Weoka is just up from the launch at the dam on the right. One of the few big creeks on the lake.

The state ramp next to the dam is nice. Bonner's is also a good place to launch.

Went to Jordan with my two brothers in law and I was the one one to catch anything, and I only caught one in the far back of a creek, but it was was a good 3 lb largemouth. Couldnt find them in the grass or main channel
