It worked for me. Reduced creep very noticeably and pull a little after a couple of hundred snaps. I just pulled up on the hammer by hand which is quicker..

works on a 1911 to...In fact, a lot of triggers can be improved using that technique.

How many times did you guys do it?
I noticed a difference after about 20 cycles. Your mileage may vary.
