If you are honest , not afraid to cold call, know people that own businesses, motivated enough to go to work everyday when no one is making you, can communicate and deal with many different personality types , talk to mom and pop business owners one minute and multi millionaires the next and and treat both with the same respect , I know a business you can get in for zero money but the $20k sure would make paying the bills easier the first year while you build a client base. ( I didn't starve but I thought I might) It isn't easy but once you've been in it a few years you can take all the time off you want and still get paid every month since it is residual. You sell insurance or somethin?

Bill doesn't sell insurance.

Mosquito spraying company. Seems to be on the up right now and if you work hard probably could make some money One of the guys mentioned that but it being seasonal kinda steered them to other ideas. It's not "kinda" seasonal. It completely shuts down I have a buddy who owns mosquito authority franchise here Who said it was 'kinda seasonal' ? My bad. ADHD is real

No pyramid scheme and it's definitely not for everyone and there isn't any get rich quick in my business. I'm in the credit card processing business and it's full of people who are more afraid to tell their costumers the truth than the old used car salesman. A person that will do it right can build a good referral business but it's a gradual process and you are an independent contractor, meaning you either sink or swim on your own.

I got suckered into a CC processing deal by a smooth talking salesman like that. You could have left out the taking all the time you want off part, it wouldn't have stung as badly. LOL I ain't quite to that point yet but if you send me another 100 or so costumers I promise to try it.

I have a good friend that works for Hartland and I've heard this speech many times. Has worked out well for him The only bad thing about Hartland is you are an employee and if you leave you lose your residual. I prefer to write for companies as an independent contractor so that my residuals last for as long as the customer processes with the company I place them with.

Nope. No pyramid scheme and it's definitely not for everyone and there isn't any get rich quick in my business. A person that will do it right can build a good referral business but it's a gradual process and you are an independent contractor, meaning you either sink or swim on your own. I wish I had a dollar for every one of those salesmen that called on our business...... If all you had was $20K to start a business, it'd have to be in the service industry. Not many barriers to entry and a lot of competition. Hard to differentiate. I tell my kids all the time: learn how to do something and answer your damn phone! You can make as much money as you want if you'll do those two things. Like Dustin said, I tried for 6 months to get someone to move some dirt around my yard. Finally had a buddy of mine come do it when he was slow.

There's money out there to be made for someone willing to work and will actually answer their phone. Agreed. Hard to find these days.

What is trucking logistics? coordinating loads and stuff? Scheduling pick-up/drop-offs? Sounds kinda interesting and something that could be done from the house.
