Some of the guys at work were discussing setting up a small business with just $20K and I sat back and listened trying to figure out what they'd do or sell and be successful. Their ideas were all over the map and I didn't hear anything that I thought worth the money/time.
So I thought I'd ask y'all how/what you'd do with $20K to start a business.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Mosquito spraying company. Seems to be on the up right now and if you work hard probably could make some money One of the guys mentioned that but it being seasonal kinda steered them to other ideas.

I was told you could get set up pretty good to cut grass for half that.

Mosquito spraying company. Seems to be on the up right now and if you work hard probably could make some money I tried to tell a certain turkey hunter to get in to this a year ago but he was hard headed. Seasonal work here in the south but that means you can hunt allllllll season long.

It would have to be a service business of some sort that didn't require much in the way of inventory. Lawn service and small carpentry jobs like building decks and such come to mind. There's money out there to be made for someone willing to work and will actually answer their phone.

Prototyping business with 3D cad and 3D printing is a nice air conditioned gig. Also, I been thinking about getting a plasma table and brake. Lots of fab work going on I got an 18 yr old graduating next week with some 3D design cutting and welding multiple materials experience. Do you know of any entry level positions in Central AL?

I would buy a portable welder, torches, and other tools and start doing mobile welding.
Lots of work in my area right now

There's money out there to be made for someone willing to work and will actually answer their phone. The economy must be booming because I can hardly get anyone to call me back or stop by and give an estimate. I've been trying for about 3 months to get some dirt moved. Gigalo. A pack of condoms, a flip phone, and some cheap cologne would bring the total start up cost in under a Hundred bucks. That's seasonal too. Eventually IDOT and Perch are going to run out of money.
