I know a square consists of 100 square feet and the actual square footage of a roof will be higher than the square footage of the house. I would say my roof is pretty steep and will have more squares because of that, but today I had someone give me a quote for replacement and he is quoting for 45 squares. My house is 1866 square feet. Do you think that sounds right? I was expecting it to be fewer. His cost per square is very reasonable but with 45 squares, it's higher than I expected.
