Saints. I've been looking forward to this. Been doing the mock draft thing and if they do what I told them, they'll do OK.

Hell, y'all already got the #1 pick with Adrian Peterson

Redskins here.

Homer Bammer in me says I hope we trade up for Allen, or hope Rueben Foster is around at 17

Several other defensive guys would fill needs.

The speedster WR Ross out of Washington would fill the Desean Jackson departure void.

Should be fun night

Can't wait to see how the Browns screw it up.

If they want Trubinsky, surely they'll trade back to 5 with Titans who are openly shopping it, take him there and add a few pics.

But I doubt they do that

Man, I hope a great pass rusher falls to the Saints at 11.

Agree he is excellent.

However that's arguably our deepest position. Su'a Cravens, Deangelo hall, donte whitner, duke ihanacho, and just signed all pro DJ Swearinger from the cardinals

I hope OJ Howard goes to the Titans. I wouldn't be surprised to see Jonathan Allen going #1, Myles Garrett just takes too many plays off.

I wish him well.

I know the Patriots are salivating over what they could do with him or Mcaffree

I think it's a poor pick for the Browns.

The draft rarely makes any sense to me, it is like Al Davis is re-incarnated for some of the picks.

Al Davis would come out of grave to draft Ross #1 overall

I could care less about the NFL but wanted to see how some of the Bama players ended up. Hilarious they are booing Goodell every time he comes out.

There's going to be a flurry of bammers shortly. Thats why I have restrained from bammer antagonizing. It is disappointing to see the SEC so poorly represented so far though

its all slotted pay now. (last year + a little interest %) so not hard to figure out.

here is article on how much Nkemdiche lost falling from 1 to 29. Not that Rueben was ever going to go one, but tenth was possibility.

He tumbled down the draft board, landing with the Cardinals at No. 29.
That fall cost Nkemdiche at least $10 million in signing bonus money. His signing bonus with Arizona was slotted at $4.4 million. Had he gone first overall, he would’ve received an $18.5 million signing bonus. Even at fifth overall, he’d have gotten $15.2 million.
The salaries and signing bonuses for draft picks have been slotted since the new CBA was enacted in 2011.

Has a team ever had 4 first round picks and not won the national championship?

Underwhelming performance by Saban and staff.

I'm as pissed as you are we finished #2 last year. What a failure. With these darn QBs we've got battling it out I'll probably be out another few thousand for flights, tickets, and lodging next January.

I know Auburn did but they didn't get the opportunity. If they would have had a playoff then they would have.

I guess people just didn't want to see that again

I was hoping Reuben Foster would have fallen to the Saints at 32 but went just ahead of them. I think they would have picked him if he was there so they picked a OT which they didn't need. Jordan Willis at 42 if he is there.

Pretty sure Ohio State had about 5 first round draft picks last year, and didn't win the 2015 NC.

2009 Oklahoma had 5 also, (3 of the top 4 picks), they went 8-5

The last time Bama didn't have anybody drafted was Saban's first year....I'm sure Gus is just getting his guys in there and will go on a Saban-like run over the next 8 years lol

About Reuben Foster, he had hired an agent that didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground, something Malik. Reuben needed shoulder surgery post season, although the best in the world in Cain and Andrews were available his agent talked him into using another surgeon. The surgery hasn't healed properly, and he may need another surgery. This red-flagged Reuben for a lot of the early 1st round teams and he fell to late 1st round instead.

Any ideas on why Johnathan Allen dropped to 17? I knew the Saints would take him at 11 but passed on him for CB. Injury?

I wonder why such a offensive genius/guru like Gus can't recruit a QB out of HS and develope him.Gus has to feel a lot of pressure considering he's NEVER done it at Auburn. It's a growing list every recruiting cycle. One more arse whuppin in the Iron Bowl should put the nail in the coffin.

I honestly thought that Adams would go in the 3rd round. I think Lawson has some medical problems.

Antonio Garcia OL from Troy went to the Patriots in the 3rd round. Good for him, I'm not surprised the Pats picked him, he's a pretty smart guy and a great player.
