I would only put it on a range gun.
Not something I would take seriously.

If I were to purchase one I would keep Slidefires ATF letter in the pistol grip for when the Sheriff shows up to reports of automatic fire.
Yes automatic guns and "bumpfire" can be legal but it can draw attention

Yes I understand all that. My question was more so on does it actually work as intended. They had problems in the past with them, I wondered if they got it straightened out by now. You can lock it so the gun works normally and it only takes about 2 minutes to change in and out.

I have one for the AK I keep on a beater WASR. It works quite well on that weapon, especially with the dong grip. It's almost controllable. I've not tried the AR version. The change from bumpfire to normal takes about 4 seconds on mine. There is another company, Fostech, that makes a much nicer bumpfire stock but they are still around $300. You can find the slidefire for about $50 these days.

I don't want anything that needs a dong grip.

They're fun to shoot, for a minute, then you realize that shooting is pretty much all you're doing...aiming don't enter into it-you're pretty much just pointing.

It's also an easy $10 bill everytime you hit that mag release...ammo companies should buy the stock for you!

Quit laughing...I think I broke something.

Fifteen is my limit on Schnitzen-Gruben, Baby...

I have OCD and ADD, so everything has to be perfect, but only for a minute.

They are cool, but I sure don't want one! After spending the weekend at the hunt camp screwing around and relaxing all weekend shooting guns, I quickly realized how much money I dropped on my AR in rounds after doing several 30 round mags in rapid fire. HUGE smile on my face, then I realized that I just dumped $50 in ammo in a matter of a couple of minutes! This was in semi...not bump fire. Bump fire would have been worse! LOL

I have a right handed dong grip. I only use it in desperation, but its there when I need it.

There is a reverse dong option you can get ahold of, if you feel like trying something different.

I have one on one of my ars. All its good for is to dump 30 rounds in three seconds. Other than that it's useless

They work takes a few times to get a feel for it but once you get how much forward pressure to apply it works extremely well. That being said it's only good for making noise dumping magazines. I just sold one. only time I used it was on new years and 4th of July the novelty wears off pretty quick then you realize you just spent over $200 on something that lets you dump even more $ down range for absolutely no reason
