I've got the 452 version of that rifle, a 453, and another 452 Scout. I love the CZ rifles. They are about the best you will find under $2000. I put a Williams peep on my 452 like yours. The extra long sight radius makes shooting irons very easy and it's easier for my older eyes to use the peep. I do love the ability to adjust yardage on the fly with the tangent sights though. I could hit an aluminum can with mine at 50 to 100 yards just by sliding the sight to the correct yardage mark. Keep on the lookout for a 453.If you find one snatch it up. It will be the most accurate 22 you have ever shot unless you own a 54 action Anschultz. You might enjoy the CZ forum at www.rimfirecentral.com They have a very active CZ forum with lots of good info about accessories.

I've got a 16" heavy threaded barrel 455. Shot my first sniper match with it yesterday. I shot a 50 out of 60. Not the best I've shot in the past, but the wind was BAAAD!! When the wind was down, I was able to get a 9 out 10 at the 200 yard mark, and it was stacking bullets on top of each other on the sighter plate. I was shooting eley tenex, but it shoots just as well with Aguila Rifle Match.

One good thing about the 455 is that Lilja makes match grade barrels in all the rimfire calibers for it. If you ever decide to try a different caliber,it might be worth the upgrade to try one. Really? So I could get a .17hmr barrel from them and take my .22lr barrel off and replace it with the 17hmr?

Yep, CZ sells the caliber conversion kit, that include the barrel and magazine for 17 HMR, 22 WMR, and .22 LR. I don't know if the Lilja comes with a mag...Maybe RH knows. Takes about 10 minutes to swap it out

Takes about 10 minutes to swap it out I don't know about the mag. I think one costs about $30 either way. I'm not even sure of the price difference in the Lilja. I would only buy the Lilja if I was wanting ultimate accuracy. A CZ barrel will shoot plenty good for hunting or plinking. I have heard of the 455's with a Lilja barrel in 22 lr shooting in the .2's at 50 yards. Some guys at rimfirecentral were comparing them favorably to 54 action Annie sporters which run about $2K if you aren't familiar with them.

Nice. I'm thinking about putting a vortex crossfire II 2x7 on it
