On my Yamaha grizzly ignition, there was a very hard to read code stamped on it that could be used to order a key from Yamaha

I lost mine a couple of years ago for my Polaris 500 and bought a replacement switch with 2 keys on eBay way cheaper than getting a new key made. It took all of five minutes to install the new switch. I did find the keys a couple of months later.
