I hate to be the party pooper, but you do realize that in most leagues it will be an illegal bat? They have to have some type of approval stamp from whatever league approves them. Besides, he has his hit now, don't let him break it. Too cool for that. ^^^This^^^

We went to the louisville mechanical pitching machine in the coach pitch league. It throws more consistently than most coaches, and the ball comes in flatter than from an adult. It sped up the games.
That is really cool. Most leagues fully allow any wooden bat, as long as they meet the length, width, and weight requirement.
