Doesn't matter. Best shaky available is the owner ultra shaky head. 1/4&1/2oz 4/0 with screwlock bait keeper. Period

Whatever color I grab. Black, green pumpkin, plum, bubblegum. Will switch up a lot.
When Edwin Evers was with Pradco he had a standup "mega shaky" jighead called the Pumpkin Ed or something like that. Bigger sizes for bigger worms. I'll put an 8- or 10-inch worm on it, or even a Zoom Ol' Monster on the bigger head. It has a giant hook and they don't miss it.

I was meaning your choice of color in your plastics, not the jig head. Sorry that I didn't make that clearer in my original question.

This....I either use black or unpainted. Usually just buy whatever is on sale.

i refuse to throw a finesse worm but i do like to throw a zoom trick worm or net bait t mac or super t mac. i like a big straight tail worm on my shakey head. if things get really tough ill throw a 5 inch yum dinger and if im feeling kinky and fishing deep ill rig up a zoom mag ii or ol monster on a 1/2 ounce magnum spot remover. having the tail dipped in chartreuse jj's magic is a must

If you ever do any ledge fishing. A 3/4oz screwlock football head with a redbug magnum finesse is the best way to go. But for smith spots I prefer morning dawn robo worms or missile baits fuse in green pumpkin red flake. Ive been on smith for a month now and if I wasn't throwing a spook that's what has been my go to. With a owner ultra shaky

The Pumpkin Ed or Xcite X-lock with 5/0-6/0 hooks are one of my go to rigs for deep summer structure. I like to use 10" Yum Mightee Worm or XCite Maximus on them with Sunline Structure FC fluorocarbon line.
