We used to sell them in a little beer joint I worked at while I was it auburn that were pickled in the big jug of of whatever that was the Penrose sausages were in. The eggs were tasty but a fart after eating one would take the paint off of the walls

Did you have a spice recipe or is there a mix available somewhere?

I used 3 parts vinegar,1 part water, 1/2 container of McCormick pickling spice,salt,and 3/4 cup of crushed red pepper and 3 onions. Brought liquid to a boil then poured over peeled eggs

I like carrots and jalapeños in them.

I'll try that on the next batch. Got to wait till the wife calms down with all the gas they are creating

i like to add beats to them to give them some color
