We are feeding a bunch of friends and family today and tomorrow for Easter so of course deviled eggs are on the menu. My wife picked up two 18 count cartons. So I done the math on this. Out back you can check and see if it's right. 18 x 2 = 36 hard boiled eggs 36 hard boiled eggs sliced in two = 72 DEVILED EGGS! HOT DOG!!! Gonna be good! I'm going to hide me at least a duzen for the week.

Hard to beat some deviled eggs.

Deviled eggs go real good with Poke Salat and fried fish. YUM!
Or I could eat a dozen deviled eggs by themselves.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Why is it that we mostly see them during holidays rather than just anytime. I love them just as well as anyone but would like to have them more on a regular basis than just the holidays

No reason you can't make the yourself and eat them every day if you wanted too.

Finally convinced my wife to make some. She uses diced jalapenos instead of pickle relish. Add a couple drops of Texas Pete on top....Mmmmmmmm.

We make ours with diced up boiled shrimp or crawfish mixed in them. That is some fine eating.

They are some fine eating but a real time consuming tedious thing to make. That is why we only get them on holidays.

The relish ones are good, but I also like them made with sweet, hot Chow Chow relish. I don't know how to make them, but I know how to eat them.

We use the spicy Wickles Pickles relish for a little kick, but I'm a fan of different things. The scrimps and crawdads sound tasty.

That Wickles is GREAT. If you want it just a little sweet, you can stir in a little melted brown sugar to suit.
The shrimp and crawdad, I'm gonna have to try.

I love the yolk part but want eat the whites Wow another besides me who likes deviled eggs but not the egg white. I'll eat them if there's enough of the filling to cover the taste of the egg white. But there's got to be plenty of the goody part.
