Whatever floats your boat. I don't want/ask my wife to go with me to do the things I know she doesn't enjoy and I appreciate the reciprocation.

It's not necessarily the shopping it's the Galleria, they should issue you a weapon at the door (so ghetto in there) and not to mention the abundance just plain weird ass folks.

I hate that place as well. My wife will convince me to go there occasionally. I must admit, people watching during lunch is quite entertaining.

I hope you made it out alright. If you're reading this, I guess you did. Better wait in the truck next time. As long as she didn't drag you to The Olive Garden when it was all over, you may pull through, but you need to be situationally aware from now on so you don't fall into this trap again. Don't be afraid to ask, "From where?", next time she says she needs to pick a few things up. Sorry bout your luck SW7. We'll be praying for a full recovery.

Thanks for all the kind words men. I pulled though laugh
It wasn't that bad. I do try to avoid shopping at all costs but the girls needed easter shoes and I agreed to go get them some after we ate in Hoover. I could have said NO, but I really didn't mind.

I have never set foot in the place and there is a really good chance I never will. If I need something I order it and let the UPS guy bring it to me. If my wife needs something I tell her to stay as long as she wants to and have fun.

Here's a small bit of advice.
When you know its gonna be one of those marathon shopping trips and your wife insists that you come along a good book and the truck AC will help you out with your anxiety.
Heres a few recommendations for good authors.

Stephen Hunter (Bob Lee Swagger novels)
CJ Box (Joe Pickett novels)
Louis LaMour (anything he's written)
