We caught probably around 30, kept 15 of them. My buddy helped me with landing the stripe. I caught probably 10 on the whopper popper. That striper was fun on top water.

Thanks gh.i was wondering about that. I was worried about that back piece of wire bending nd and not working right. I normally hook stripe on the back hook with top water baits.

Great job on the stripe. About how deep was he, and was he off a point? They're weird fish this time of year, but I guess that's what happens when you're bred for the salt and get stocked in central AL.
