It was a vicious strike but not a ton of fight when this cannibal hit my Bluegill Bandit.

Got a Whopper Plopper question too. I know you guys throw it on braid. I threw mine without any takers on 12-lb Yozuri Hybrid tonight. Is that asking to get tore down?

I throw my whopper on 16 lb mono. I wouldn't be afraid to throw it on ten if the drag is set right.

That bream didn't like that crankbait one bit. That crankbait also might have a big ol' bass hit it around those beds, too.

I'm sure mono, fluoro or co-polymer would be fine for the smaller version. I'm just a braid fan, though.

I throw the 90 on a 7 foot medium veritas on 14lb suffix pro mix. I wouldnt throw it on flouro because it sinks. Im catching a bunch of fish pausing it they usually crush it as soon as i turn the handle half a turn

I did steady retrieve. Probably where I messed up. I was fishing a rocky bank. Figure I'll catch some on it over submerged vegetation when the grass gets up.
