Former offensive coordinator Al Borges is returning as an offensive analyst under current AU OC Chip Lindsey, according to ESPN's Chris Low as per Malzahn.
Borges was OC back in the 2000s.

Was borges wife the one that worked for Russell or was she the one that took au to the ua brand? Seems I remember one of the oc's wife having something to do with that?

The way I remember it was that there was some friction between his wife and some of the admins in AD. If she is the reason for going with Under Armor, I imagine the friction was with the folks loyal to Russell. I do know there were some unhappy people over this. About the same time, they adopted a child and he began to spend more time at home and less at the office. Concurrently, the offensive production dropped, which led to him getting let go. If he is still in the same boat, an analyst position is perfect for him. Less time away from home and still getting to use a good offensive mind.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
