My corn starts going in the ground tomorrow. A week or 2 later than I would have liked but it'll be OK. And that's the way I will continue doing it regardless of the baiting bill passing or failing. In, not on, seems to be the operative word here.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

According to an article in AON Mag the inside info is that just like last year the bill will die in the Senate without a vote, just like last year. There will be wailing and weeping and gnashing of teeth across the land of Bubba Are you Chuck Sykes with the Bubba jokes? Because he, like yourself, realizes that only poor Redneck's Bait. The wealthy all supplemental feed! For the thousandth time, there is a difference between baiting and supplemental feeding. So for the sake of another argument, let's say I am in a blind 110yds North of a 6" by 3' PVC tube full of corn strapped to a tree with a 3/4" gap at the bottom. The wind is coming out of the North and I am set up facing North on a North/South trail that goes 20 yds from the feeder tube. I am feeding or baiting? What about if there's Purina Deer Chow in the tube? What about if it's corn with a battery operated timed spin feeder? or trough? What about if it's Purina Deer Chow in a battery operated timed spin feeder? or trough? What if i'm at an intersection of E/W and N/S trails and wind is out of West and I am facing into it but feed is 110 South of me? It's just that there is so much open to interpretation with the current regulation that it seems the only people able to state they are involved in supplemental feeding are the ones with a controlled (High fence) environment that only feed within their "Sanctuary". I actually just put corn or feed out (Mostly corn, too cheap to buy much feed) for pictures in March then use Salt cubes and trophy rock through the summer.

Forget about the 100 yrds according to GWs. If a deer is going to it to eat and you are hunting it, it is baiting, which they believe to still be illegal. If it is put out by any means, whether it is corn, feed, whatever and you are hunting it, it is baiting. If you are not hunting it, it is supplemental feeding. The DCNR in their wisdom passed the 100 yrd. rule and it serves no purpose that I can tell and only seems to confuse people. The GWs I talk to are emphatic that baiting is still illegal. If they do pass a baiting bill the best thing I can see coming from it is there will be no more confusion on the issue.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Just more BS from the legal minds in Montgomery. Fix the problem by making a definitive statement. Yes to 100yds+ period or no to any feeding 10 days prior to and during hunting season.

According to an article in AON Mag the inside info is that just like last year the bill will die in the Senate without a vote, just like last year. I'm sure this along with several other bills will die in the Senate "again" with the impeachment process going on. I seriously doubt the luv Gov will sign any controversial bills (Unless it's to raise taxes) at this time, it's all political BS

The entire purpose of that 100 yard "feeding" REGULATION *during* the deer season was *purposely* meant to create the confusion necessary to then go and say "we need to clear up the confusion by legalizing baiting." That is all it was from the very beginning. The forces that wanted legalized baiting knew they would never get it straight up, so they went the subterfuge route of an inane regulation first (that contradicted the statute) then they say, "hey we got a crisis and confusion, let us not let a crisis go to waste..." Reminds me of Obamacare - intentionally designed to wreck the entire health care and health insurance system in this country in order to create crisis and then foist "Single Payer" nationalized health "care" on the entire country.
