top cat OP Freak of Nature Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 42,103 UR 6	Young man hunting with us shot, what he thought, was a nice buck one afternoon near the end of the season. Found blood but not the buck. Fast forward till the end of Feburary. Came across him laying in a swamp a few hundred yards from where he had shot. I never told him. Rather removed the head and took it to have a Euro mount done. Fast forward till today. Picked it up this afternoon and presented it to him tonight. His best buck ever. And to top things off turns out today is his birthday and I never knew, my daughter informed me just before I picked it up. She saw it on FB. If it had been a random buck I would have hung it on the cabin wall but glad it found it's new home.
