Went back to a favorite place at 10am after one I let get past me last week but he wasn't home. so I walked up a hardwood hollow quietly and heard a gobble about 100 Yards away. I put a decoy down in the trail and got set up. Called one time and got a gobble. Stayed quiet and he gobbled once more and 5 minutes later 2 gobblers came in strutting. Shot the first one that gave me a shot and the other jumped on him. Turns out I shot the smaller bearded bird but mine had an 8 inch beard with 1 inch spurs and weighed 19.8 pounds.
