Still no turkey kill but confidence is building even though I still really don't know what I'm doing. Called up my first Gobbler, that is, the first gobbler that I know for a fact came looking for that filthy slut I was doing my best to imitate  ! He never made a sound but popped out of a blind spot at 15 yds! One second earlier and I'm sure he'd have seen me putting down my pot call. I saw him about a 1/2 second before he saw me. We scared the piss out of each other and he was gone before I could get a bead on his head. I can taste it!
