Depends on what you are looking for. For fine dinning go to St. Johns or The Meeting place but take your wallet. Casual dinning but good food (Italian) Boccaccia (this is mine and my wife's favorite restaurant, a little hard to find but well worth it) Tony's Past in the art district is very good. This would be a good choice for an evening stroll across the walking bridge if you are taking the wife. Other places The Terminal Brewhouse kind of unique, Big River Grille & Brewing, Blue Water Grille, Some more modern hip where the younger groups are going is The Flying Squirrel or Chattanooga Meat market. Hope this helps.
