In the last couple years I have grown kind of an affinity towards them. I've got a single shot turkey (which they don't make anymore). After getting that gun I did some research on them and learned that Remington recently acquired them and they weren't making the single shots or maybe some of the pump turkey guns they had made in the past. Looked everywhere online and couldn't find any at all. There's not really any on their website either. I'm not real sure how accurately the website reflects what is available to the buyer.

For the past couple years I have been interested in a turkey pump and I'll be danged if I didn't see one at wal mart yesterday. Like $200 bucks, camo with a short barrel. I think I read someting that those guns are very similar to an 870. Foregrip looked a lot smaller which is something I might like.

Maybe their starting to make these again? I asked the guy behind the counter and he mentioned something about them having those gun since December.

Just wondering if any of yall had any info on these guns or if they are starting to be made again.

You talking bout the pardner pump turkey version? If so I think they've been out a while.

Edit: maybe not, I can't find anyone selling them new

Yeah that's the one. I'm not sure if they have been making them the last couple years but it looks like they might be starting to again.

I've had mine since 2008 and paid around $180 for it then, killed a bunch of birds with it over the years. It is built just like a 870 except for the barrels will not interchange and it takes the Invector style choke tubes. I shoot a HS Strut Undertaker .665 and Mag Blends 5,6,7 for the best patterns out of mine. It is one of those guns you can beat through the woods and it will still shoot every time. I've since added pistol grip stock and spray painted mine flat green just because matte finish wore off.

Update:

Went back to wal mart today and looked at the gun. It's got camo stocks and blue/black barrel and receiver.

I looked on the barrel and it said H&R 1871, LLC, Huntsville, AL.

It's made in China but looks like they're being assembled possibly in Alabama?

Price was $197

That is my turkey gun as well. I CAN NOT imagine shooting 3.5's through it though!
