I've noticed it's making a big come back in the stores, but for some reason I'm just not a big fan of that style camo. Who else doesn't like it.

It's OK, looks just like a tight bark hickory. I like Real Tree AP Green for all around camo.

Most camo was made too dark for years , the companies are finally wising up.

I still haven't figured out why everybody wants to look like a blob of tree bark. I can sort of see it for turkey hunting, but not for deer hunting. I finally realized what it was like to disappear when I bought and started wearing an ASAT leafy suit. On the ground or in a tree stand, I've never been seen by a deer while wearing it. I've been looked past, or looked "through" but never busted.

I still think Vertigo camo is the best treestand camo pattern ever made. I just don't like the extra price associated with Scent lok.

I like the looks of the ASAT leafy suit as well , however, I'm not big on the pattern for regular clothing.

Truth is that camo patterns sold to hunters are designed primarily for how pretty the look. They are all about the same effectively. But does it matter if your camo is HD with fine details of the bark and leaves to a deer at 50 yards? Nope. I wear these camos but I also hunt a lot in just a solid color shirt when I'm in a tree. The deer don't seem to mind (or notice).

I'd still use Jim Crumley's Treebark if it was easily available. I still have a few Woodlands and Advantage things, that see action from time to time. I'm not to worried to awful much about patterns, and I usually mix them up. It's rare for my pants, and jacket to be the same pattern, and probably unheard of for me to match from head to foot. Deer are happy to climb into my freezer whichever pattern I wear.

Like the original bottomland. Dark and no leaves. Dark or light preference probably depends on whether you hunt pines or hardwoods.

I like bottomland for turkey hunting as well as the old MO Forest Floor. For tree stand hunting I wear an ASAT leafy suit. Light patterns are better for tree stand hunting. Skyline apparition was a pretty good one.

Started as bottomland but looks more like ASAT. Lol!
