Anyone know where we can get 65' poles for a baseball field. Power company here said they couldn't get hands on any.

Baldwin Pole & Piling has a concrete pole division...they can make/pour any size you need. I'm guessing he's wanting wood since he already checked with power company. Baldwin should be able to help either way

They just needing cheap. Would love concrete but for a high school that's never had a field and got some used lights. Trying to find some cheap poles.

They have to call the games when the sun goes down right now until we can get something rigged up.

Cahaba must be a good size plant, I don't think I have ever seen a class 1/75' pole and they say they have 100 in stock. Every pole that's been cut off my place has gone to this plant. They've always sent their guy out to mark the ones that would pass; don't seem to trust my judgement on what makes a pole.

I'm guessing you've got a derrick truck and decent experienced pole setting crew already lined up. A 65' with pike poles and ropes will get a crew of Saturday volunteers killed even if you can raise it, guaranteed.
Also, tamping the dirt around them as deep as they have to be set ain't for old guys.

Cheap poles will be the least of your worries when you start with the transformers, duct banks, lights etc. permitting and getting a primary/secondary source will push $100K.
not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids
