The Hornady 140 ELD MATCH is very popular with 6.5 shooters. The ELD X is the hunting round, a little different expansion.

My 5 shot group at 100 yards with ELD Match from my Ruger American Predator. They are good shooting rifles.

I have the same rifle. I shoot the 143gr ELDX, was told the round was developed for this rifle, not sure if that's true. I took a nice mature 11 point at 140 yards this past Dec. and dropped him. Quartering to shot, hit inside left shoulder/chest exit through off side rib cage, about the size of a 1/2 dollar. Great round, great gun
