I'd love a 250 2 stroke, 250 4 stroke or bigger dirt bike though.

what kind you have?

I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

Probably anything but a beginner bike. The 450 4 strokes are nearly too much. I personally like the 250 4 stroke. They're strong but much more controllable. It's a good bike just very strong. What you plan on doing racing or just riding around?

I love a 450 dirt bike!! Power on demand is nice when your 6'4 and 250lbs. A 450 may not be the best bike for a beginner but way better than a 2 stroke imo... a 4 stroke is smooth, predictable power. The torque alone will get you out of a pinch.

The new 450s are ALOT of maintenance and expensive to work on. A 2 stroke is cheaper to maintain but itll take some tuning to make one more woods friendly

Good luck! Its been a few years but i love riding dirt bikes. Hope you invest in a quality helmet, boots and gloves... that 450 will ride you in a hurry grin

Riding around the yard, Kentuk ORV, Sand Mtn MX....I was joking about the beginner thing. I missed my KTM 450exc and my 525sx....the 525 was UNREAL...this one is nice but it's still no KX/CR500

There was a VERY nice looking 89(?) KX500 in the Mobile AL Craigslist. He wanted $3800 best I recall

KX-500 is a Widow maker, they are super strong but the rear swing arm flexed so bad that you were going way faster than you should........then it yard darted your azz!
In excellent condition the collectors are paying good money for vintage motocross bikes though.
