Praise the Lord! I have lived to see another turkey season! Exactly what me & my buddy prayed on the way in, PCP!! What a glorious morning, albeit bitterly cold & no gobbling, but I was so happy it was turkey season again!! BGD

Heard 2 or 3. Woods are reeeeeeeeel open. Flushed some hens off roost at 730 walking to one.  Birds cranked up early. Heard first one at 615. Had to leave one gobbling at 10:00. He was across the line (and a creek) with some hens. Maybe he'll be on my side tomorrow. Dr. B

Heard one gobble about 10 times at daylight but he was off the property. Did a bunch of loud cutting about 10:00 as a last ditch effort. About decided I had all of the cold I could stand and was about ready to get up when he appeared like a ghost. So when you're ready to go stay an extra 30 minutes, you just never know. 10 inch beard 1 inch Spurs. If someone will pm me to post pics
