After looking at a few of her post on the Buffet forum, it looks like ol' Maggie123 had thrown down the gauntlet to ol' Irishguy. I guess I better get cookin' This ol' gal can cook!

Seriously good lookin' food sister. I hope to learn a lot from you, keep up the posting. Food looks fantastic!

Just wanted to say glad see other folks posting so much good food. It's all inspirational. Me and the Mrs. love to cook together.

No lie. Both are posting more stuff than I have time to cook.

Both of y'all do a very good job from what I've seen, keep up the good work. I enjoy seeing these great recipes.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Irish, I'm jealous. Ms Muzzie can't cook, and doesn't cook. We have been married 29 years and she has attempted to cook 4 meals, none were edible. I guess maybe I intimidated her a little bit when we met, as I used to prepare food at a pretty decent establishment a couple nights a week and she thinks I'm a chef. No formal training but I have worked along side of some pretty skilled chefs, I just like to eat and cook.

I really enjoy seeing all the different foods that you guys and girls prepare. I think this may be the only forum on this site where there aren't any arguments, just a lot of loving of food.

If I were married to Ms Maggie, I would weigh well over 300lbs, just from eating her biscuits if nothing else.

Eeekkk gads hon, what is not to love!!!? We all have to eat and not everything has to be controversial....heck especially good food!!!! I love to cook and sharing recipes is almost hard for me because I don't measure!!! I have cooked most dishes so many times, I eyeball it! This has been fun for me. I look forward to more.

Oddly enough, I have twin daughters who do not cook...go figure. I do have a granddaughter who is very interested in learning though!!

I'm with you Maggie. I will cook something and some will ask for the recipe. Sorry but there isn't one. Cooking is from the soul. When I tell someone a bit of this or dab of that, they just look at me like really, just give me the recipe. If you want a recipe I just say go buy a book.:)

I will try to give a recipe here if someone asks, but I rarely measure anything, so what I will do sometimes is post a recipe from the internet that is similar.
