Time for me to get some new ones.
Would like them to be 10"+, lace up, WATERPROOF, and comfortable.
What are yall wearing?

I wear a pair of redhead lace ups. I spray them with ATSKO waterproofing spray before each season. I've never had lace ups that were "stand in the creek" waterproof, but these are pretty good with the spray.

Wife bought me boas for Christmas.
Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

Timberland leather boots, but they arent 10 inches. But hold up well for long mountain climbs.

id say danner probly makes the finest lace up production snake boot that you can buy. only thing nicer might be russel moccasins. you can abuse danners an they'll hold up no problem. I wear Chippewa originals in snakey places but my number one boot of all time is lacrosse burly classics. the whole boot is vulcanized one pice rubber. hard to beat.

Academy pull ons are hard to beat Affordable, too; a buddy of mine who's hard on stuff has a pair that's going on its 3rd season... So those may be my next pair; I'm currently in a zip-up Irish Setter that leaks like a freakin' sieve... But they're snake-proof so I keep on wearing 'em 'cuz they cost me an arm & a leg...

My deal on the 10" is so that the boot is tall enough so that my pants don't come untucked every 30 seconds.
I've got a pair of Danner High Ground's. I really like them.
I would love them if they were 2" taller

If the issue is your pants riding up, I had a pair of nice pants that my grandmother sowed some soft elastic fabric to the bottom as a catch either under my foot, or my shoe depending on what I wore. Like old women sterup pants. Easy and cheap fix.
